Yield: 4 Hamburgers

Ingredients

· 1/2 Cup Low fat Mayonnaise

· ¼ Cup Whole Grain Dijon Mustard

· 1½ Pounds Ground Turkey

· 3 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil

· 4 Cloves Garlic, minced

· 2 Tablespoons Grand Diamond All Purpose Seasoning

· 2 Teaspoons Smoked Paprika

· 1 Teaspoon Chili Powder

· 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce

· 1½ Teaspoons Kosher Salt

· 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper

· ½ Cup Yellow Sharp Cheddar Cheese, grated

· 12 Slices Bacon, cooked (Turkey Bacon or Pork Smoked Bacon)

· 4 Slices of Sharp Cheddar Cheese

· Red Leaf Lettuce

· 3 Tomatoes, sliced

· Sliced Pickles

· 1 Onion, thinly sliced

· 4 Hamburger Buns

Directions

In a small bowl, combine and mix the mayonnaise and mustard. Set aside or refrigerate if it’s not going to be used immediately.

In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, olive oil, garlic, Grand Diamond All Purpose Seasoning, paprika, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Mix until well combined. Using your hand, divide the meat mixture into 4 portions.

Chop 4 slices of the bacon and combine it with the grated cheddar cheese in a small bowl. Set aside.

Next, lay a piece of wax or parchment paper on a flat surface. Take one of the 4 portions and divide it in half. Flatten and shape each half into patties. Place a couple of tablespoons of the bacon and cheese in the middle of one of the patties leaving the edge clear. Place the other patty on top making sure to close the edges of both patties together. Pinch the patty’s edges together (this will ensure that the bacon and cheese won’t come out during the cooking process) and reshape the burger if necessary. Using your thumb, place a small well in the middle of the burger (this will help the burger keep its shape). Repeat this process for the remaining 3 portions.

Preheat a large pan over medium heat. Place the burgers into the pan and cook on each side for 6 to 7 minutes. (Tip: Don’t press the hamburgers with a spatula you’ll release all of the juices.) After cooking the burgers on their first side, flip them over and place the sliced cheese on top.

Once done, assemble the burgers as follows:

- Open the buns and spread some of the mayonnaise sauce on each side.

-Top the bottom bun with lettuce, the hamburger patty, 2 slices of bacon, tomato slices, pickles and onions.

- Top the burger with the top of the bun. Enjoy.
